Sector 2048 is a solo 2048 game published by Salient Vision. You can play locally without an account. Optional Knomee sign-in enables cloud history sync and related features.

Data we collect

When you play without signing in

Game state, scores, preferences, and local history stored in your browser (local storage).
This data stays on your device unless you export or share it yourself.

When you sign in with Knomee

User ID: your Knomee wallet address and optional public handle, linked to your account for sign-in and sync.
Gameplay content: finished games, scores, move history, and replay metadata needed for cloud sync and shared replay links.

Both are collected for app functionality only. They are not used for tracking or advertising.

What we do not collect

Location, contacts, photos, or health data.
Advertising identifiers or behavioral profiles for ad networks.
Payment card details (the game is free).

How data is used

Run the game, keep local progress, and restore sessions.
Sync history across devices when you sign in.
Generate replay links and content-addressed game exports you choose to share.
Authenticate your Knomee identity when you opt in.

Third-party services

Knomee: optional sign-in (Sign-In with Ethereum). Governed by Knomee's own policies when you use that flow.
Firebase (Google Cloud): cloud sync for signed-in players and short replay link resolution. Google processes this data as our infrastructure provider.
IPFS pinning (optional): if you pin a game export, content you submit may be stored on decentralized storage services you connect to.

Retention and control

Clear your browser storage to remove local data. Sign out to stop using cloud sync from this device. Contact us if you need help with account-linked data.

Children

Sector 2048 is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy as the app evolves. The date at the top reflects the latest revision.
